Rudy as a puppy!

It's been too long..

I have not posted in SO long. I had several posts saved in drafts and they are out of date and silly now! So.. here is a recap of the time since the last post..

1) Utah starts baseball practice tomorrow. He is on the Astros and we are all ready for baseball season to start!
2) Tuesday is working in Little Rock while going to school in Conway. She is enjoying her financial independent.
3) Hannah is planning a trip for Spring Break and is still working at the day care.
4) Tod is still fixing delicious meals and doing most of the housework while I recover.
5) I am loving my job... my kids.. and my husband... corny, but the truth!
6) Rudy NEVER quits barking... and I mean NEVER. If I hug Tod.. he barks.. he barks at 5:30 because it is dinner time.. if he hears dogs on the TV.. he runs outside and BARKS!
7) We are going to get a big dog this summer - a bull mastiff and we are going to meet the parent dog soon. The little (BIG) guy will be born sometime in March.
8) I am have one more class to take to finish my ESOL certification.
9) I miss Amy!
10) Tod leaves for Memphis this Friday!

Back to reality!

Well, the four day weekend is almost over. It was a wonderul break that allowed us to get many projects around the house completed. We also got in some fun dinners and activities once the snow melted! Tuesday came home late Friday and has spent the weekend recovering from the flu. She has a little bit of a cough but she is on the road to healing. Utah had a great time snowboarding and was very disappointed when he saw the snow was gone on Saturday morning.

I have spent this morning finishing up my planning for next week, working on my assignment for my ESOL endorsement, dropping a free PBS course (with ESOL coursework, it was too much!), reviewing lab safety procedures for dissection (we have a chicken wing, rabbit heart/lung, and frog dissection labs coming in this quarter), and well, I slept in today, too!

Two Snow Days!

Snow Day #1:

- primed, painted shower wall
- hung curtains and other needed items to use shower
-dusted
-mopped
-vacuumed
-4 loads of laundry
-oiled wood floors
-emptied and loaded dishwasher
-cleaned out all kitchen piles of stuff

Snow Day #2:

-Slept until almost 9am
-balanced checkbook
-spend the day hanging out with Utah
-working out
-Tuesday coming home

ALL OF THIS and it isn't even the weekend yet!
