Missy Welsh-Read

A friend died last night. She had three beautiful children and a loving family. From what we have been told she quit taking her thyroid medicaiton and the changes to her body contributed to a fall in the shower on Friday morning. She was found by her mother and EMT's were able to revive her. Sadly, after some tests, it was discovered that she went without oxygen for too long and had lost all brain activity. Her family had to let her go.

Her facebook quote was "Kiss slowly, Forgive quickly" and I think that sums her up well. She was generous and kind and will be missed from this earth. I know she is celebrating in heaven and knows only joy now. Sadly the three children and unmended relationships she leaves behind are all in anguish. Please pray for this family to have comfort and healing.

Remember: Missy did not know she was going to die yesterday. She did not get a warning so she could call her family and friends and say goodbye or heal broken relationships or correct damage done in anger. Her family did not know that Thursday night would be the last time they would hear her voice, laugh with her, and tell her that they love her. There can be no more I love you's or I am sorry's and that is a heavy burden for those left behind to bear.

God is great and His plan is perfect... it is just also painful for those left behind and who have to wait for a reunion in His presence.

2010

Well, Tod and I needed to update our Will and we decided to use Willmaker by Quicken. After reading a lot of reviews, it seemed like the most affordable and effective tool we could use to make some adjustments to a very simple Will. It worked great and the Will has been adjusted.... now we just have to get it notarized, ugh! Just thought I would share feedback about a great tool.... and we only paid $50! Oh, also, it reminded us to check beneficiaries on all our life insurance policies... something we had totally not considered and some of them were in conflict to our Will... so, $50 well spent!
