Some people are cute.. some have talent.. some have both..

this is what Tod said when he beat us at bowling... his score is obviously the 190...

We wore our pants and socks in odd and differing styles to see if it impacted our game.. no really, we did it to embarass the children (it gives us joy :-)! Tod was very creative... it made Tuesday and Utah NUTS! None of the children were very impressed with my turquoise ankle socks....

Silly poses after successful bowing attempts include...

Food!!!!! These three children were constantly hungry!! Tuesday ate almost ALL the fries by herself, but somehow I missed the picture opportunity! :-)

Saturday shopping, baseball game, and evening at home!

Utah had a good game... they tied. It was the first game of the season and we are confident it will get better each game. We had a great time watching baseball and spending time with our family and friends. Little Emmet is a joy! We were so excited to have Elizabeth and James join us for the first game. Hannah laughed and played with Emmet... they don't get to see each other very often. We were impressed with Hannah's focus on family and close friends (like family) while she visited!

Hannah even took him with her on Friday night to spend time with him! We are impressed!

My kiddos are reunited.. the girls even were dressed alike and Utah could not have been any happier. It was so sweet to hear him yell 'Hannah!' when she came in the door and run to hug her. He did the same thing when Tuesday came home. He loves his sisters and they are so good to him. Hannah even took him with her on Friday night to spend time with him! We are impressed!

Dad cooked his delicious pizza for us!

Me with the kiddos... no make-up!

Drapes..

I fell in love with our house when we first walked in... there are so many things about it that I absolutely love! However, there were/are some things I strongly dislike, but they are all things, in time, that can be changed. We painted rooms with ugly wall paper, put in wood floors where there was carpet (except the kids rooms and upstairs), and some other small adjustments. One of the things I really hated was the curtains they left.. but until we found the color, style, and affordability curtains of our dreams.. they stayed.

Well, we found these eclipse thermaweave curtains at Wal*Mart that have a beautiful color and sheen... unlike other thermal curtains, they do not look like cheap polyester pantsuits... they keeps rooms cooler in the summer.. warmer in the winter... so.. we bought them and gave them a shot in our living room.

We love them and will be watching for shorter versions in colors we are interested in for other windows... they are like drapes, not curtains.. pictures show the gradual transformation..

I know.. I know.. the original white ones are totally wrong for our living room.. they look awful... glad they are gone... they look nice in my daughter's bedroom with her white furniture...

This summer that wall will be a beautiful hue of RED to match my favorite red paisley chair...

Happy Birthday from Tod to me!

These are delicious! He ordered them from www. fretzels.com... such a sweet man!
